Jan 4, 2023, 3:16 PM. Save. Hi, been in Zell a couple of days ago. There is snow and the vast majority of runs are open but the lower down runs are a bit narrow and not so good. The positive is that the link to Saalbach means there is access to Hinterglemm & Leogang where the snow is slightly better.

Often in March. It is not usually if there is snow enough but the condition of the snow. Most times in late March, temperatures can be quite warm and the sun more direct. We have just returned from zell 17/02/07 the lake has not frozen, it was raining in the village.Sunshine for the last 2 days. Still had a great time, ski-ing on the higher slopes and glacier were good.
